Additionally, Anyword also gives you “engagement scores” for the content it creates. This gives you insights into how effective it is with your target audience.
What they don’t tell you, but what I like about it is that this AI writing tool keeps you focused on the fundamentals of marketing by marking words on the page as “problem statement” or “target audience”.
What I like about it is that you can define brand personas and use them on different pages. What I don’t like is that scores can be a hindrance for those who are easily distracted while writing. Because a personal project can feel like a game.

What I don’t like is the rehashing of old terms like “in the world of SEO” or “the digital marketing landscape”.

What I like about it is that it provides SEO-friendly product descriptions. It’s also the only tool I’ve found that specifically includes a “Facebook Ads Generator” based on product names and keywords.
What I don’t like about SEO Blog Writer is that its interface is clunky and difficult to use.

Jasper is one of the most well-known and familiar AI writing tools on the market. Just looking at its interface, you can tell that other tools have been quick to follow suit.
The AI writing tool, as you’d expect, includes a sidebar for topics, important information, and voices. It also generates results in an editor where you can actually edit them.
Jasper integrates with a number of large language models, including GPT-4 and Claude 2, to deliver high-quality results.
One of my favorite features is the ability to analyze your existing content and create custom “Brand Voices.” This ensures that the AI’s writing style matches your brand’s unique style and voice.
Jasper also integrates with tools like Grammarly and Surfer, making it a complete solution for content creators.
What I like about it is that it keeps the voice and brand words consistent across different pieces of writing, especially when working with a team.
What I don’t like is that while the features are great, they require a lot of setup. This means you have to do a lot of work from the beginning to start a new episode.

What I like about RivalFlow is that it inserts text into my existing page. So I like that it reduces some of the steps by showing me the best place to add new text to my article.
What I don’t like is that RivalFlow only works with existing content, so I still need another AI writing tool to create new sections from scratch.

I didn’t know this tool existed. It’s a nice feature that’s different from the AI tools I’ve seen. While most AI writing tools are geared towards data-driven content like marketing copy and blog posts, Sudowrite specializes in writing fiction.
This tool might have been left out of this B2B guide, but most business writers extend their skills to creative fields as well. While we wouldn’t think of using AI for fiction, think about how helpful it would be to have a prompt to help you get started. From there, you can jump right in and start writing.
This AI writing tool helps you generate plot ideas, character descriptions, and narrative paragraphs. Its Canvas tool gives you a way to jot down ideas about how the story will progress, details about the characters, and other plot changes.
Are you a novelist, If you’re a screenwriter or just a creative writing enthusiast, Sudowrite can be a powerful tool to help you spark your imagination and overcome difficult writing obstacles.
I like that storytelling requires a heightened sense of reader engagement, so this tool includes easy buttons to add descriptions like smells, feelings, and sounds that can enhance the story.
What I don’t like is that the tool is so packed with writing solutions that it can be hard to find what you need. To say the least, it can be overwhelming for those who are still undecided. But that’s actually a small criticism.

8. Writer – Transparency and Formatting
Writer gave me a blank page that acted like an editor. So as I started writing, it started rating my clarity and word choice as I wrote, and I saw suggestions on the side.
This is a bit like Grammarly. Jasper has to be integrated with Grammarly, but Writer has its own built-in proof-reading option.
I can put small snippets of text into my brand library and bring them back to the pages I’m writing. This is helpful for company descriptions and legal disclaimers, which organizations often use.
So where does AI come into play? You highlight a line of text and have Writer do the work. It can simplify or format the text. I’ve had to ask ChatGPT to simplify text that was confusing due to editing, so it’s nice to have this option built into the page.
Writer is a great choice for Enterprise. So it can be deployed in support, operations, and sales departments as well as traditional marketing copy areas.
I like the UI, which is great, with actions like “simplify” ready when you highlight text. What I don’t like is the on-page scores in Anyword, which are both good and bad.
Having alerts on the page is nice, but they can be distracting. (Writer keeps them to a minimum, but they’re still there mentally.)

9. Writesonic – Flexible GPT-3/GPT-4 Option

This flexibility can be valuable depending on your budget and what you want to get out of the tool. GPT-4 produces higher quality results, but it comes at a higher price.
Its interface seems easy to use. You just provide a topic and some of your pages or a document as references. The tool offers language options that I haven’t seen in other tools. I also like that it gives you a set of topics to choose from, rather than a “take it or not” format.
Writesonic is designed to deliver your article in under 2 minutes, targeting the keyword you’ve chosen. From there, you can edit it.
Writesonic also improves accuracy and real-time data. This is a major issue for some users, as there have been stories of AI hallucination (AI making mistakes).
I like that the topic suggestions are a nice touch. They can help spark your ideas even if you don’t have a topic in mind. What I don’t like is the repetitive filler words that can get in the way of your writing.

This tool is new to our list. Wordform AI is a solid research-based tool to get you started on your content. It gives you touchpoints along the way that you can manage yourself or manage with their suggestions.
For example, you can choose sources to help you outline your article. Finding Reddit in this list feels like a new piece of information. Then you get an outline that you can edit.
As I experimented with removing and adding parts of the outline, I noticed the attention to detail that allowed me to specify whether my additions would be simple paragraph notes or elevated to a separate H3 entry or higher.
Once you’ve set up your outline and checked the settings, you can start writing your article. Wordform leverages advanced AI technology taught by marketing playbooks to create high-quality content that’s designed to drive traffic. Its WordPress integration is a standout. It gives you the ability to easily “publish” to your CMS.
It also offers plugin-style tools to help you do other things better. For example, niche finder, keyword targeting, and headline optimization.
What I like about Wordform is that it lets you do all your content work right within the tool. It offers image embedding (Creative Commons License or AI-generated) and automatic link suggestions.
What I don’t like is that it’s a bit confusing to start with a title before writing an article. I’ve gotten into the habit of adding a temporary title that I can edit later.
